Management of rights/users to be refined and facilitated: modification of a user profile propagated to users already created, different user profiles according to groups

User rights management could be refined to meet the following two needs:
- when a user profile is modified, that these changes are reflected on all users who have this profile. For example, I want to open up a new right to catechists (or remove some). Currently I have to change them one by one when we have more than one hundred users with the same profile. This request joins the other development requested to allow the application of a new profile to an already existing user (another post)
- less important, rather long-term for authorizations: allow the assignment of a different user profile according to the groups. Ideally, this would allow extended rights to a person responsible for baptisms for example, without allowing them to do everything about catechism groups if they are a “simple” catechist at the same time. This would give matrix authorization management as exists in many tools with rights crossed with groups.

Looking more closely at rights management, I see that the “user profile” only serves as a creation template (rights for a user). Could the “role” field be used to define different types of profiles that could be applied or deleted to a user and whose changes would be reflected on users with this role?
