Today I have 8 birthdays. The home screen shows 6, plus 6 past birthdays. I don't see the point in preferring to show a past birthday to a birthday of the day. First, we need to know the birthdays of the day.

I suggest showing ALL birthdays of the day as a priority. Then complete with future or past ones.
