It would be great if the names of those responsible were “frozen” in the past years. Thus, when the leader of a group was changed for the current year or those to come, the history would be kept for previous years.

I complete this concept of “freezing” for custom fields: the values of the fields can be different from one year to the next (for example catechists, couples accompanying marriage preparation, the number of proposed meeting sessions, etc...).

However, the list of values proposed has an impact on the group, all years combined.

Modifying a list has no impact unless an entry is edited: all values that are no longer in the current list are simply deleted.

However, the interest of Millésimer confirms the idea that an organization can vary from year to year and not only the participants.
