We discussed this request in the diocese committee today. The need to express casuel as a “recommended range” rather than a “single amount” (everyone then remaining free to give what they want/can) is a real need because it is officially practiced this way in several dioceses: Lyon and Chartres already do it (but undoubtedly others too), and the 8 dioceses of the Province of Besançon will do it from Sept. 2025.

I think Pierre-Yves Ligney's request is another need. So another demand for evolution to be created...

In Enoria I indicate the low value of the range. And parishioners give “wholeheartedly”, in general, more than the minimum; so what is lacking is the possibility of eliminating the household debt when the amount given is less than the minimum amount.
